Whether you need your wheels to be powder coated or wet sprayed we do put our maximum effort to have the wheels done in best possible quality. We also provide custom 2 tone powder coat finish so please check out our gallery for some great examples.
There are 5 steps that we follow while having your wheels refurbished:
Here at 5 STAR WHEELS LTD we do provide a LOAN SET service which is completely FREE OF CHARGE. If you cannot leave the car with us (2 working days for powder coating) we can fit a loan set of wheels (subject to availability) onto your car to keep you mobile. You can also drop the wheels off to us if that’s more convenient to you.
At this stage we do remove tyres and valves if the wheels need powder coating then carry a full inspection. At this stage we do check your wheels for any buckles or flat spots. If there are any issues we will notify you about potential additional work needed for the wheels to be safe.
After your wheels come out from an acid we can inspect the wheels further for any hidden cracks/welds and again will notify you if any concerns arise. The wheels are then getting washed and sand blasted, ready to be powder coated.
The wheels are pre-heated first then primer powder is applied. Depending on your colour choice we will apply a coat of powder or waterbased OEM colour paint, then powder lacquer your wheels for extra durability and gloss (or satin) finish.
After the wheels have cooled down your tyres and new rubber valves (or your TPMS) are getting installed and your FRESHLY REFURBISHED WHEELS ARE NOW READY TO COLLECT!

Shipping time for UK Mainland is 2-3 working days for all orders placed for rims only.
Orders for sets of alloys with tyres are to be delivered within 5 working days from the day of placing an order. Please provide your current email address as tracking number with delivery details will be sent to your email address used at the checkout.
Larger sets of alloys with tyres may be shipped on a pallet so please contact us if there is restricted access in your area.
We are confident about our quality so all alloy wheels come with 12 months warranty for powder coated finish. Diamond cut alloy wheels come with 6 months warranty. On all diamond cut alloys it is important NOT to use any acid based cleaning products. If wheels are washed regularly with soapy water they will last a lot longer than the warranty time provided. Warranty covers against flaking, peeling or corrosion provided that no chemicals were used on wheels other than soapy water and normal driving conditions: no off road driving or damage caused by an accident. Buckled or cracked wheels are not covered by any warranty. Please contact us to advise on how safely use wheels with low profile tyres.
We put maximum effort for wheels to be safe in the first place so all are checked twice prior posting and securely packaged but if there are any problems with the wheels that you’ve received from us please let us know. We do provide 14 days return policy so please contact us via email or workshop number to resolve your problem as soon as possible.
