Alloy straightening and welding
Alloy wheels can get damaged by hitting a curb or a pothole.
Due to poor roads condition if you drive on low profile tyres and/or have runflat tyres fitted you can damage the wheel. It can be either buckled or even cracked.
If you are experiencing vibrations or shaking from your steering wheel or excessive tyre wear then it is likely that your alloy wheel is suffering from some damage, ie. buckle, flat spot
If you loose an air from your tyres and you keep inflating them this can also mean your wheel could be cracked and it will require welding
Here at 5 STAR WHEELS LTD we can take care of all kind of damage and repair your wheels as long as we say it is safe to do so. We do not repair wheels with front piece missing as we believe this is not safe to be used on the road
In most cases we can get your wheel straightened while you wait but in some situations if it’s badly buckled may require more time.
We do use professional welders to weld our wheels and we have great experience with them but this means we can only weld your wheel if you bring it to us or alternatively we can fit a spare wheel if available. We would not be able to have your wheel welded while you wait.
